Last week, on June 5th 2018, VMware announced the General Availability of VMware NSX-T Data Center 2.2.0 which brings a lot of new features.
Besides many functional feature additions, this version of NSX-T also brings more operational simplicity like Automated NSX Controller Cluster Deployment.
One of the main additions is the added capability for NSX-T to manage Workloads in Azure, which gives customers a single pane of glass for managing their on-premise and Azure workloads.
Also, NSX-T now has an officially supported Terraform Provider for the automation of NSX-T logical objects such as switches, routers, firewall rules and grouping.
You can find all new features in the "What's New" section of the NSX-T 2.2.0 Release Notes here.
